Classic New Orleans Apartment Living

The majority of our leases are for a 12 month term. We will occasionally do a shorter term lease if there are special circumstances involved. If the lease is less than 12 months it is always at a higher monthly rate due to the potential of additional costs involved in having to clean and prepare an apartment for renting more than once during a 12 month period.

The best and easiest way to check your account balance is through the tenant portal which can be accessed from our website, www.kieferapts.com.

We require at least 30 days notice prior to someone moving out of there unit. The notice can be given either in person, over the phone or with an email message. This applies even if you are beyond the end date of your original lease term, since by default the lease becomes month-to-month and the same terms as the original lease apply.

In general pets are not allowed at our buildings. The Exposition building is the only property that we do allow pets in the apartments. There is an additional pet fee required also.

If the building allows for tenants to have pets then there is an additional $200 non-refundable pet fee that is required prior to move-in.

The best and easiest way to make a service request is through the tenant portal which can be accessed from our website, www.kieferapts.com . When you submit a service request we are immediately notified via email and you receive a confirmation of your service request. You will also be notified once the service is scheduled and any progress along the way.

On our website we have a resident links page that has web links to all the utility providers in the New Orleans area. Just click on the provider you need and it will take you to their website where you can setup your account.
